i find my break times being more frequent and longer than my study times... Lord i pray for the discipline and the mental strength to hit the books for Your glory.
it's during these breaks that i find myself thinking more and more of my sweet baby. Lord i thank You that she's gotta come back on monday for her SIA round 2 interview and test (wah 4.5 hours, that's longer than the new revamped SAT format even).
baby i'm so happy you're coming back early, i think we wouldn't be able to last 2 weeks apart :) you've somehow crept your way insidiously into my heart, and like a grappling hook or the barbed tip of an arrow, you've sunk your claws into me and seems like you ain't gonna let go anytime soon (not that i want you to go anyway muahaha).
your tears touched me last night baby, in a way i never thought possible. never realised how much you meant to me til you were gone, how much i missed your voice, your presence, how much i missed talking to you on the phone, how much i missed chatting with you online. all this while i must admit that while you were around, we really fell into the trap of taking each other for granted. ;) well praise God :D
you're coming home!!
this is such wonderful news, i really look forward to having you in my arms again... and thank God we only have to last the weekend apart :)
heh it strikes me as being ironic, that we've been apart longer than this, but yet the feelings stirring up within us is exponentially deeper. i can't explain it but it's different when you're in a different country. all i know is that i miss you like i've never missed anyone before, like a desert's longing for the sweet rain that gives life. i miss you.
well, baby, on a different note....i'm looking forward to bible study later, trusting in the Lord to give guidance thru pastor's message, trusting in the message to charge me up spiritually for the strength to keep focused on the prize. sometimes it feels like i'm running on reserve, sometimes i feel like it's so easy to just give up. like i've made such a mess of my life, why can't i just press the reset button like on my xbox when i made a mess of the game? if only it were that simple. but, the Lord is my reset button. He clears the slate of my life, He washes me white as snow, He makes all things beautiful in His time. i shudder to think what will happen to me if He's not ard holding me up in His hands...
praise Jesus he is so good
=)
guess i'll have to get ready for church now, looking forward to seeing my choir mates again. it's been such a long time... abu just spoke to me earlier, wanted to quit the choir! he's been such a pillar, his presence will be deeply missed. especially in the backups, when they're already so stretched. but i'm sure the Lord has a plan. He will never leave the music ministry high and dry.
ok laterz :D
